Rylann Beeson (Jr.) racked up four hits with four RBI in Mustang’s regional championship run last week, helping the Broncos clinch a spot in the 2024 Class 6A State Tournament with wins over Muskogee and Deer Creek.
Beeson has been named the J M Insurance Agency Athlete of the Week for the Week of Oct. 7, 2024. She went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored in a 6-1 win over the Roughers on Oct. 8, followed by a 2-for-4 performance in a 9-5 victory over the Antlers on Oct. 9, including a double and three RBI.
The junior first baseman has been a key performer for the Broncos all season. Her defense has been stellar as well as her steadfast approach in the 2-hole of Mustang’s lineup.
Beeson and the Broncos square off against Edmond Memorial on Thursday at noon in the 6A quarterfinals at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. The winner advanced to the semifinals and will face either Choctaw or Stillwater.
