After two straight dominant performances on both ends of the floor, Cherish Haywood (Jr.) has been named the Realtor Michael S. Ray Athlete of the Week for the Week of Jan. 8.

Haywood helped lead the Broncos to a 76-72 win over Norman North last Friday at the Mustang Event Center, recording a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She also added six assists, three steals, and two blocks.

The 5-foot-11 combo guard scored 12 points and pulled down seven boards in a 61-39 win at Moore last Tuesday. She also finished with two steals, one block, and zero turnovers.
