Cameron Langdon (Sr.) finished 15th overall in the 2024 Chile Pepper Festival El Caliente race on Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark., helping lead the Mustang Broncos to 20th as a team.

Langdon has been named the J M Insurance Agency Athlete of the Week for the Week of Sept. 23 after clocking in at 15:44.80 in his best performance of the season. He competed against over 350 runners from across the region.

Langdon is one of the top runners in the state. He finished 20th in the Deer Creek Field Run Festival and second in the Mustang Harrier night race earlier this season at Wild Horse Park.

He and the Broncos continue their season this weekend at the 2024 OK Runner hosted by Norman High School before competing in the 2024 Central Oklahoma Athletics Conference meet on Oct. 15.
