Raegan Bullard, one of Mustang’s top senior setters this fall, recently committed to play collegiately at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville.
Bullard was one of the team leaders in assists with 179, digs with 118, and serve percentage at 96.3%. As one of six seniors on the squad, she helped lead the Broncos to 23 wins and a spot in the regional tournament finals.

Q: What are your favorite hobbies outside of volleyball?
I like to do anything active such as tennis or riding my bike. Being active is really important to me because it makes me feel strong and healthy.
Q: What are your favorite moments playing volleyball?
The moment after my team gets a point and we all cheer. It’s a special time because we all come together and cheer each other on. It makes everyone excited whether you’re on the bench or on the court.
Q: What are the best aspects about playing volleyball for Mustang?
Honestly, winning is the best part of playing volleyball at Mustang. Everyone in the crowd gets loud and excited. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.
Q: Who is your favorite athlete or biggest sports hero?
Probably Elena Scott from the University of Louisville because of her amazing work ethic and consistency. She is an all-around amazing player and I look up to her as I am about to go play in college.
Q: What are your favorite sports teams?
Probably the University of Nebraska volleyball team.
Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?
My dad. He pushes me to keep going and is always so supportive in all that I do. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.
Q: Favorite breakfast cereal?
Fruit Loops.
Q: Favorite movie and TV show?
Movie: “Harry Potter”
Q: Favorite music artist?
Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo.
Q: Favorite ice cream flavor?
Chocolate.

Q: What are your plans after high school? College? If so, what are you planning to study?
I plan on playing volleyball for Oklahoma Wesleyan University. I want to study psychology because it seems very interesting.
Q: What is a career path you have in mind after school and sports?
I plan on becoming a psychiatrist. It seems like something I would like to do. I would like to help people as much as I can.
Q: Do you have any siblings? Do they play sports?
I have an older brother and a younger sister. My brother, Logan, is 21. My sister is 13 and also plays volleyball.
Q: What sports did you grow up playing?
I grew up playing a couple of sports, including softball, dance, gymnastics, and volleyball. Eventually I stuck with volleyball.
Q: Are you originally from Oklahoma? Have you lived or grown up in Mustang your entire life?
I have lived in Mustang my entire life.
Q: Do you play any other sports for Mustang?
Tennis.
Q: Are you committed to play anywhere in college?
I am excited to have committed to play at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
Q: Where is a place you have always wanted to visit?
I have always wanted to visit Paris. It is a beautiful place and I have heard the food is really good.
Q: What is the best aspect of playing for Blake Newman and the Mustang coaching staff?
The coaching staff always pushes you to do your best and to work hard. They do a lot for us and push us to keep improving.
Q: What are some of the best aspects of playing with this group of seniors? What is your favorite memory?
I loved playing with this group and is so sad to have to part with them. We always have each other’s backs and cheer each other on.
