After helping lead the Mustang Broncos to the championship game at the 2023 Bishop Kelley Tournament and being selected to the All-Tournament Team, Roman Miller (Jr.) has been named the Realtor Michael S. Ray Athlete of the Week for the Week of Dec. 4.
Miller, a standout player for the Broncos, averaged over 18 points during the tournament, adding over six rebounds per game as well.
He scored 22 points in a 73-58 win over Coweta in the opener and 19 against Booker T Washington in a 69-66 semifinals win. He dropped 15 in a 58-54 championship game loss to Broken Arrow.
The 6-foot-4 guard also scored a team-high 17 points in a 64-59 loss to Piedmont on Dec. 5 at the Mustang Event Center. He finished with four steals on the defensive end.
Miller and the Broncos return to action next weekend as they host the 2023 Bank 7 Mustang Holiday Classic. They open the tournament against Class 4A Marlow on Dec. 28 at 8:30 p.m. at the Event Center.
