Senior running back Latin Everheart helped lead the Mustang Broncos to a 54-30 win over the Westmoore Jaguars in the final week of non-district play last week at Bronco Stadium.
Everheart was named the J M Insurance Agency Athlete of the Week for the Week of Sept. 16 after rushing for 172 yards on 32 carries with two touchdowns in the team’s third straight win to open the season.
Everheart is up to 350 yards on the season with three scores, averaging 5.6 yards per carry. He rushed for 136 yards with one score in a Week 2 win over Broken Arrow.
He and the Broncos continue their season on Friday night with a Homecoming matchup against the Moore Lions (3-0), starting at 7 p.m. at Bronco Stadium.
