Hoyos, Bowers, Musae finish inside top 25 as No. 12 Broncos take fourth at Choctaw Lady Jacket Invite

The No. 12 Mustang Broncos shot a team score of 371 on route to fourth place at the 2024 Choctaw Lady Jacket Invitational on April 2 at Choctaw Creek Golf Course.

Thalia Hoyos (Sr.) led the way as the team’s only player to break 90. Emery Bowers (Sr.) and Jaeden Musae (So.) played their way into the top 25 individually to help lead the Broncos into their second straight day of action.

Hoyos shot a 17-over-par 80, going out with a 12-over-par 46 and coming in with a 5-over-par 41. She cleaned up her round on the back nine, parring four holes with a birdie at the par-4 11th to help secure a tie for 9th place.

She finished with one par on the front nine.

Bowers finished T-12 after shooting a 20-over-par 90. She carded four pars on her round plus a birdie at the par-3 14th. She started on the second hole and turned in a 9-over-par 43 on the front and an 11-over-par 47 on the back.

Musae finished T-21 with a 24-over-par 94, including pars at the par-3 seventh and the par-4 13th. She birdied her second hole, the par-3 third, which helped her shoot an 11-over-par 45 on the front nine before capping her round with a 13-over-par 49 on the back.

Freshman Kayla Ingerson made her April debut with a 30-over-par 100, good for 36th place. She carded an 18-over-par 52 on the front nine before a 12-over-par 48 on the back.

Kynzie Pascoe (Jr.) finished 47th with a 38-over-par 108. She went out with a 20-over-par 54 and came in with an 18-over-par 54.

Class 2A No. 1 Turner won the tournament with a team score of 322. No. 5 Norman North finished second with a 326 while 5A No. 1 Bishop McGuinness finished third with a 334.
