Mustang girls, boys combine for 12 wins at 2023 Enid Meet

The Mustang Broncos combined for 12 wins at the 2023 Enid Meet prior to Christmas Break.

The Bronco boys finished first seven times while the girls racked up five top marks in yet another strong performance for the team as a whole.

The foursome of Parker Campbell, Mason Scott, Ace Seck, and Gavin Davis spurred Mustang’s boys, combining for five individual wins and two in relays.

Scott notched two wins, including the 200-yard medley (2:12.65) and the 100-yard freestyle (:54.44), while Campbell tallied a win in the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.34).

Seck’s win came in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in at 1:01.19, while Davis finished with a time of 1:06.27 for first place in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Campbell also added a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle while Davis finished second in the 50-yard freestyle. Austin Price also notched a runner-up performance, finishing second in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Dalton Le (200-medley), Skyler Fair (50-free), Shaun Lund (100-free), and Seck (200-free) all finished third in different events.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Davis, Campbell, Fair, and Seck finished first with a time of 1:41.27 while the 400-freestyle team of Le, Fair, Campbell, and Scott finished first with a time of 3:42.34.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Jackson Fogt, Davis, Seck, and Scott finished second, clocking in at 1:53.78.

GIRLS

Jacee Jimeson and Brenda Nguyen combined for four individual wins while the 200-yard freestyle relay team also finished first.

Jimeson finished first in the 200-yard medley (2:41.33) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.27) while Nguyen finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (:25.72) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:10.96).

The 200-yard freestyle of team of Julian Hua, Addy Padilla, Aurora Grant, and Nguyen took home first place with a time of 2:00.04.

Grant (100-breaststroke) and Keaton Brown (100-freestyle) each finished runner-up in separate events while Julian Hua (200-freestyle) and Isabella Bethel (500-freestyle) each finished third.

The 200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relay teams each finished second.

The 200-yard medley team of Jimeson, Hua, Nguyen, and PadillaAscoy clocked in at 2:10.67 while the 400-yard freestyle team of Brown, Grant, Jimeson, and Catherine Hunter finished with a time of 4:53.99.
