Eight Mustang Broncos signed their letters of intent on National Signing Day last week at the Mustang Event Center.

Eden Anderson, Arionna McElroy, Shaye Rowe, Parker Simonsen, Riley Trammell, Lauren Coleman, Sterling Hill, and Maddie Bullard put ink to paper in front of friends, family, teammates, and classmates. Coaches and members of the MHS athletic department were also in attendance.

Here is a list of Mustang athletes who signed:

Eden Anderson – Softball / Southern Nazarene University

Anderson signed her letter of intent to play for SNU in Oklahoma City after an outstanding senior season.

She led the Broncos with a .523 batting average and nine home runs this fall. She was named to the Large West All-State Team and selected as the Class 6A District 4 Player of the Year.

Arionna McElroy – Softball / McNeese State University

McElroy signed her letter of intent to play at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La. after a spectacular senior season for coach Lacy Darity’s squad.

McElroy was one of the state’s top catchers this fall, finishing the season with a .993 fielding percentage with 138 putouts. She also hit .376 with 12 doubles and 21 RBI on her way to being named an alternate on the Large West All-State Team and being selected as the Class 6A District 4 Co-Defensive Player of the Year.

Shaye Rowe – Softball / Rose State College

Rowe signed her letter of intent to play at Rose State College in Midwest City after a terrific senior season.

Rowe helped lead the Mustang Broncos to regional and district championships while hitting for a .373 average this fall. She racked up 25 hits with seven steals and finished with a .969 fielding percentage. She was selected as All-District Honorable Mention last month.

Parker Simonsen – Basketball / University of Central Oklahoma

Simonsen signed her letter of intent to play at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond next year. Her senior campaign kicks off in two weeks.

Simonsen led the Broncos with 9.3 points and 1.8 assists per game as a junior while also grabbing 3.1 rebounds. She is expected to continue her growth and take on an increased role for a strong Bronco squad this winter.

Riley Trammell – Basketball / Oklahoma Christian University

Trammel signed her letter of intent to play at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond with her senior campaign starting in just two weeks.

Trammel has been a mainstay for coach Katie Bass Smith’s squads over the past two seasons. Her hard work, dedication, and attitude have made her an asset to the program and a future asset to OC.

Sterling Hill – Soccer / Southern Nazarene University

Hill signed her letter of intent to play at Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City with her senior campaign still on the horizon.

Hill has been one of Mustang’s most important players and is expected to continue to shine this spring under new coach Shana Gulikers.

Maddie Bullard – Soccer / Southern Nazarene University

Bullard signed her letter of intent to play at Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City. Like Hill, Bullard’s senior season will be this spring on the pitch.

Bullard has been a key player for Mustang’s program over the last three years. She has been a star on junior varsity and is expected to make an impact for new coach Shana Gulikers in a few months.

Lauren Coleman – Track & Field / Drury University

Coleman signed her letter of intent with Drury University in Springfield, Mo. and is currently prepping for her senior campaign on the track.

Coleman was outstanding as a junior, helping break the Mustang girls 4×1 and 4×2 relay school records four times last spring. She helped set times of 48.13 (4×2) and 1:42.80 (4×2).
