Sounding Off: Tyson Pogi, Jaden Johnson, Waleed Gaines Jr. chat after 48-10 win over Edmond North

EDMOND – The Mustang Broncos clicked on all cylinders in their 48-10 win over Edmond North last Friday night at Husky Stadium.

The team’s offense put up 481 total yards while the Mustang defense held North to just 195. The Huskies passed for just 95 yards while rushing for 116.

Freshman quarterback Tyson Pogi made his second start and was nearly perfect, completing 16 of 18 pass attempts for 292 yards and five touchdowns. His primary target, Jaden Johnson (So.), caught 10 passes for 254 yards and four scores.

Junior defensive back Waleed Gaines Jr. was impressive at cornerback, swatting away three passes from Husky QB Pryce Bender. He also finished with three total tackles, including one for a loss.
