Mustang junior cross country runner Cameron Langdon has been named the inaugural Michael S. Ray Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 16.
Langdon (Jr.) finished third in the 2023 Class 6A West Regional Meet on Saturday at Wild Horse Park, helping lead the third-ranked Broncos to a runner-up finish as a team. He clocked in at 16:24 – just five seconds out of second place.
Langdon has been one of the top three runners for Mustang all season, including a win at Wild Horse Park in late August in the Mustang Harrier night race. He also won Westmoore’s Jaguar Jamboree in September.
Langdon and the Broncos are looking to win the program’s fourth state championship this Saturday at the Class 6A State Championship Meet. The Broncos are set to go off at 9:15 a.m. at Edmond Santa Fe High School.
