Mustang’s Jacobe Johnson was presented with a very special jersey on Friday night.
The star athlete received his commemorative 2023 Under Armour Next All-America Game jersey after being selected to play in the showcase event on Jan. 13 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
Johnson, one of the state’s top players and a four-star commit to the University of Oklahoma, helped lead the Broncos to the 2022 Class 6A-I state quarterfinals and an 8-3 overall record.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound senior dominated on both sides of the ball in 2022, including a team-high 1,106 receiving yards and 16 touchdown receptions. He finished his high school career with 2,540 total yards and 30 touchdowns.
Johnson also racked up 29 solo tackles with one interception as one of the top cornerbacks in Oklahoma. He also totaled 218 return yards and three touchdowns.
