Seven Mustang Bronco girls athletes signed national letters of intent on Wednesday.
Logan Pickelsimer, Landry Garza, Kiera McGahee, Olivia See, Katie Jones, Lainee Davis, and Katie Barnett all signed with colleges or universities, each looking to take the next step in their athletic careers.
Pickelsimer, who was named All-State and All-Conference after helping lead the Mustang softball team to the state playoffs this fall, signed her letter of intent to play at Oklahoma State University for coach Kenny Gajewski.
Garza, who was also named All-State and All-Conference for the Bronco softball team, signed her letter to play at the University of Central Oklahoma for coach Cody White.
McGahee, who took home All-Conference honors after dominating inside the circle this fall, signed her letter of intent to play at Seminole State College for coach Amber Flores.
See, who also helped lead the Broncos to the state playoffs as one of the team’s key players, signed her letter to play for Ouachita Baptist University and coach Derrick Grimes.
Jones, a standout on both the Mustang soccer and cross country teams, signed her letter of intent to play soccer at Oklahoma State University for coach Colin Carmichael. Jones recently finished as a senior All-Stater in the Class 6A state championship cross country meet.
Davis, also a standout on the soccer team and one of the squad’s top players, signed her letter of intent to play for Mid-America Christian University for coach Anthony Yousey.
Barnett, one of the school’s top golfers and Class 6A state tournament qualifier, signed her letter of intent to play at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan.
