Four Broncos take home Central Oklahoma Athletics Conference honors

Four Mustang Broncos were honored with postseason awards last week.

Mikayla Eagle (Sr.), Grace White (Sr.), Tatum Spencer (Jr.), and London Cooper (Jr.) were named honorable mention by the Central Oklahoma Athletics Conference.

Eagle, one of the team’s five seniors and one of the team’s top players, finished with a team-high 238 kills, 652 receptions and 438 digs. She also finished with 339 errorless passes and 279 good serves, ranking second on the team in both categories.

White, also a senior and one of the team’s top defensive players, finished the season with a team-high 163 solo blocks. She also tallied 79 digs, 283 receptions, and 166 kills.

Spencer, one of the team’s top players offensively and defensively, finished with 174 kills, which ranked second on the team. She also racked up 111 blocks (second to White), 70 digs, and 229 receptions.

Cooper burst onto the scene during her junior season. She finished with 145 kills, 118 good serves, including 16 aces, and 184 errorless passes. She also tallied 47 digs, 39 solo blocks, and 375 receptions, including 144 serve returns.

The foursome helped lead the Broncos to 13 wins in 2022 and a spot in the regional championship match in October.
